Dr. Debalina Seth, (First Class First, Gold Medalist in U.G and P.G. from Jadavpur University) teaches History of Modern Bengali Literature (19th - 20th century), Contemporary Bengali Novels and Short Stories along with Tagore Literature.
She has completed her Ph.D. from Rabindra Bharati University and her doctoral research work was absolutely an interdisciplinary study titled "RabindranatherParibeshBhavna' - 'The Crisis of Environment, Forecasted by Tagore'
She assists Ph.D. Scholars in doctoral research, especially on Tagore Literature, Contemporary Bengali Literature and Interdisciplinary studies.
She regularly writes research articles in leading Bengali Journals like Porikotha, Suvashree, Nillohit, Ujagor, Agrabeej, Golpo Sarani and many others.
She delivers lectures in many national and international seminars regularly. She is now engaged in her post doctoral work on Environment and Modern Novels and Short Stories.
